Walking in the Night 9 – 20th October 2012 in Dansehallerne

We are approaching the premiere of Walking in the Night, and there is something to look forward to.

Danish Dance Theatre has in recent months been working with one of the world’s most sought-after choreographers – Itzik Galili – and shows two works by him – Peeled and Fragile. The program also includes a completely new work – Dilemma of Obedience – created by the young choreographer Edhem Jesenkovic specifically for Danish Dance Theatre dancers.

“When you want to move among the best modern dance companies in the world, it is important to work with international choreographers who can challenge the dancers and enrich the audience. It’s a scoop to present Itzik Galili, since it is rarely his works displayed in our latitudes. And Edhem Jesenkovic has an enticing and good energy that is very inspiring. I can not wait for the premiere” says Tim Rushton

Many performances are sold out and there are only a few tickets left throughout the period, so it is important to be quick if you want to make sure that the experience of Walking in the Night.

There will be a free performance introduction by dramaturge Gerd Schottländer half an hour before the performance begins. The show lasts approx. one and a half hours incl. break.
