REVELATIONS
Conceived and directed by Liam Steel
Described as 'the new face of British Dance Theatre' -The Guardian, Stan Won't Dance exploded on to the scene and broke all the rules about what theatre and dance can be. In their new piece REVELATIONS they lift the lid on a secret world of lust, lies and loss to ask the question "How far would you go for the one you love?"
Heaven and Earth collide as marauding angels feed on the secrets and guilt of an unassuming couple. Ravenous for retribution they manipulate bodies, hearts and minds to create a world in which punishment is pain, pain is pleasure, and pleasure becomes the greatest punishment of them all.
Combining acerbic text by Nigel Charnock, stunning design and daredevil aerial choreography; performers risk life, limb and soul to expose the darkest heart of our hidden desires.
Warning: Revelations contains strong language and scenes of an adult nature which some people may find offensive and is not suitable for children.
